Istanbul: the power of non-formal education at ISYEC 2021

From 2 to 6 November 2021, the Turkish National Agency hosted a special edition of the Youth@Work International Symposium on Youth Employment Challenges (ISYEC), ‘Crossing the Bridge’, in Istanbul. The symposium gathered youth workers, trainers, employers, researchers and policy makers from Erasmus+ programme and partner countries around youth employment, entrepreneurship and cooperation between non-formal education providers and the business sector.

Stefan Chichevaliev, Executive Director of the Social Entrepreneurship Observatory, spoke on the panel ‘The Power of Non-Formal Education’, with:

• Dr Neringa Tumėnaitė, PhD researcher at SOAS, University of London, and member of the Pool of European Youth Researchers
• Tuğba Çanşalı, social entrepreneur and founder of Learning Designs (Öğrenme Tasarımları)

The panel was moderated by Selahattin Ciritci, who had joined the third episode of SE Talks earlier in the year.
