SENIC established in Brussels
On 1 October 2024 SENIC was established in Brussels as an international partner for work in the social economy, the social solidarity economy, and sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation.
SENIC is an umbrella for what the Social Entrepreneurship Observatory has built over the past years. Where the Observatory works in South-East Europe, SENIC is a new entity that focuses on the European, continental and global scale. Its own description of its work is evidence-based consulting, digital tools and training.
The two now work side by side. The Social Entrepreneurship Index is developed by the Observatory with SENIC, and the Social Entrepreneurship Conference returns in September 2027, organised by SENIC and the DIESIS Network.
