Citizens Perception of Social Entrepreneurship in North Macedonia
The Social Entrepreneurship Observatory has conducted an introductory research on Citizens Perception of Social Entrepreneurship in North Macedonia.
The idea behind this research was to explore the awareness, knowledge and experience of the citizens in the country with social entrepreneurship. The report offers conclusions from the research and recommendations for furthering the development of social entrepreneurship in the country. This research was planned to be conducted through face to face interviews with the citizens, but due to the situation with Covid-19 that was not possible.
We decided to undertake this research as an introductory research and as a pilot for our future research plans on a local, national and regional level.
This research is the first of this type, exploring the perception and views of the citizens of social entrepreneurship, their purchasing experiences and practices, motivations and characterization of social enterprises.
